Mark Steel
Mark is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has been involved in transactions with a value well in excess of £1bn. With an accountancy and finance career spanning over 20 years, Mark has been repeatedly head-hunted to provide commercial and financial leadership to businesses and professional practices. Mark has led and reorganised finance departments in public, private equity-backed and privately-held businesses, instigating systems and control improvements, wholesale reworking of financial analysis and corporate reporting functions, and forecasting and complex financial modelling.
With considerable experience of originating, leading and completing company sales, management buy-outs/in and debt and private equity deals, Mark has the knowledge to quickly identify issues and opportunities, and the connections to rapidly complete deals.
Mark is currently Finance Director to an acquisitive Chemicals business and a fast growing e-Bikes company.
