Dr Hasham Khan
Hasham is a successful healthcare leader specialising in healthcare strategy, transformation and commissioning with a particular focus on improving health related outcomes for patients and improving value in healthcare services.
As a former clinician, Hasham is adept at engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders including clinicians, service users and commissioners to bring about necessary improvements in healthcare delivery. He has significant experience of whole system transformation in the NHS and the Middle East. Most recently he was based in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia where he led the implementation of the new models of care and developed the oversight framework for new and upcoming Accountable Care Organisations (ACOs) in KSA. He was also the lead architect for the post Covid elective recovery programme in the Eastern Region.
Previously, Hasham was involved in delivering transformation strategies which include the polysystem strategy and integrated urgent care solutions in south west London, the urgent care strategy in West Kent and the whole system integrated care service in West London for the elderly population. In addition, he was involved in the JCI accreditation exercise in Qatar and UAE on behalf of secondary and tertiary care clients.
